Hartley Burr Alexander – Writer In Stone
Named “Nebraska’s Renaissance Man” when indoctrinated into Nebraska’s Hall of Fame, Hartley Burr Alexander had many interests including art, architecture, and the Native American culture. Author of inscriptions on the halls of the Nebraska State Capitol and walls of Memorial Stadium, his words will forever be written in stone. Despite this Nebraska-born man’s national and international accolades, Hartley credited his accomplishments to his Nebraska education and upbringing. This book presents his life from childhood until his death in 1939. Margaret Dale Masters, Author
