Plan Your Visit: The full Syracuse Historic Walking Tour covers approximately 2¾ miles and includes 31 historic stops. Allow about 1 hour for walking alone. To enjoy the historic videos, photos and stories along the way, we recommend allowing 2½–3 hours for the full experience. You are welcome to complete as much of the tour as you like and return another day.
A Note About the Walking Route
As you explore Syracuse, please keep in mind that not all portions of the tour have sidewalk access, and some of our sidewalks have a little history of their own! Watch your step, be aware of uneven surfaces and traffic, and use caution when walking between stops.
Take your time, stay safe, and enjoy discovering Syracuse along the way!
